Manufacturing ERP, built on Odoo.

We build manufacturing systems on Odoo for Kenyan producers and the distributors who move their goods. Recipes and bills of materials, batch tracking, real production costs, and then the van routes and shop orders that get finished goods onto shelves, all in one system with the accounts.

01What the system covers

From raw material to the shelf.

Recipes and BOMs

Every product carries its bill of materials, so a production run consumes the right raw materials and the stock stays honest.

Production

Batch and lot tracking

Each batch is traceable from the raw material that went in to the customer it went to, with expiry dates where they apply.

Traceability

Real production costs

Materials, labour and overhead land on the run they belong to, so the cost of a unit is a number from the system, not an estimate from memory.

Costing

Quality checks

Checks at the points you choose, receiving, in process, before release, recorded against the batch they were done on.

Quality

Van sales and routes

Vans loaded against a route, sales made from the van, returns counted back in, and each route settled at the end of the day.

Distribution

Planning and reports

Raw materials reordered before they run out, production planned against orders, and reports on output, cost and margin per product.

Planning
02Who it is for, and why Odoo

Who we build it for.

Food and nutrition brands, water and beverage producers, cosmetics makers and light manufacturers in Kenya, along with the distributors moving goods into shops. Production usually runs on experience, costs on a spreadsheet, and the two meet only at year-end.

We build it on Odoo so production, stock, distribution and the accounts run on one platform and give one set of numbers. We recommend Odoo Enterprise, and there is an optional monthly support plan after go-live.

Scope it on a call

03Questions we get asked

Manufacturing on Odoo, answered.

Does it handle recipes and bills of materials?
Yes. Every product carries its bill of materials, production runs consume raw materials against it, and changing a recipe changes what the next run uses and costs.
Can we trace a batch if something goes wrong?
Yes. A batch is traceable both ways: which raw material lots went into it, and which customers received it, so a recall is a report rather than a panic.
Will we finally know what a unit costs to make?
Yes. Materials, labour and overhead post to the production run, so the unit cost comes from the system and the margin on every product is real.
Can it run van sales?
Yes. Vans are loaded against a route, sales and returns are recorded per van, and each route settles its stock and cash at the end of the day.
Is it eTIMS compliant?
Yes. Invoices and credit notes are fiscalised with KRA as they are raised, for factory-gate sales and van sales alike.
We have more than one store or warehouse. Does that work?
Yes. Raw materials, production and finished goods can sit in separate warehouses, with transfers tracked between them and stock visible in each.
What happens after go-live?
We train production, stores, sales and accounts on their own screens, then support the system. There is an optional monthly support plan with a 24-hour weekday response. Without a plan, we still help when you call, and each request is quoted and billed on its own.
How do we start, and what does it cost?
It starts with a discovery call. After that you get a written scope and a fixed price for your products, lines and routes.
